6.3.4 „Continue Relay" – automatischer Start
des anderen Laufwerks am Ende der CD
1) Die Taste SINGLE/CONT. (31) so oft betätigen,
bis im Display „CONTINUE" (c) blinkt. Die
Betriebsart „Continue Relay" ist damit für beide
Laufwerke gleichzeitig aktiviert.
2) Auf einem Laufwerk eine CD abspielen. Das
andere Laufwerk muß auf Stopp geschaltet wer-
den. Dazu die entsprechende Taste TIME/STOP
(32) so lange gedrückt halten, bis die Anzeige
(a) erlischt.
3) Am Ende der CD startet das andere Laufwerk,
welches dann seine CD spielt und danach wieder
das erste Laufwerk startet usw.
4) Wird bei dem auf Stopp stehenden Laufwerk eine
andere CD eingelegt, anschließend wieder die
Betriebsart „Continue Relay" mit der Taste
SINGLE/CONT. aktivieren, und das Laufwerk mit
der Taste TIME/STOP auf Stopp schalten.
Hinweis: In dieser Betriebsart startet das auf Stopp
stehende Laufwerk nicht automatisch, wenn auf
dem anderen Laufwerk die CD mit dem schnellen
Vorlauf
bis zum Ende gefahren wird.
6.4
Anspielen eines Titels
1) Nach dem Einlegen einer CD mit der Taste
bzw.
(37) auf den gewünschten Titel springen.
2) Die Taste CUE (39) gedrückt halten. Der Titel wird
so lange angespielt, wie die Taste gedrückt wird.
3) Nach dem Loslassen der Taste CUE springt das
Gerät auf den Titelanfang zurück und schaltet auf
Pause. Zum Starten des Titels die Taste
drücken. Danach kann mit der Taste CUE weiter-
hin auf den Titelanfang zurückgesprungen werden.
6.5
Schneller Vor- und Rücklauf
Soll während des Abspielens einer CD der Titel
schnell weiter- oder zurückgefahren werden, die
Taste
oder
(33) gedrückt halten.
Hinweise:
a Bei der Einzeltitelwiedergabe fährt der Rücklauf
bis zum Anfang des momentanen Titels. Dann

6.4
Short playing of a title beginning
1) After inserting a CD, go to the desired title with
the button

(37).
2) Keep the button CUE (39) pressed. The title is
played as long as the button is pressed.
3) After releasing the button CUE, the unit returns to
the title beginning and is set to pause. Press the
button
(40) to start the title. After that it is still
possible to return to the title beginning with the
button CUE.
6.5
Fast forward and reverse
If the title is to be on fast forward or reverse while
playing a CD, keep the button
pressed.
Notes:
a During the single title replay, the reverse run
returns to the beginning of the current title. Then
the unit is set to pause. If the next title is reached
with the forward run, the unit is also set to pause.
b During the total title replay, the forward or reverse
run also goes beyond several titles, however, it
stops at the beginning and the end of the CD.
c In the pause mode, the current spot is constantly
repeated after a forward or reverse run until the
replay is started with the button

6.6
Genaues Anfahren einer bestimmten
Stelle
Zum exakten Anfahren einer gewünschten Stelle bei
eingeschalteter Pause den Drehknopf REV/ FWD
(34) drehen. Auf der CD wird so lange und so
schnell vor- oder zurückgefahren, wie der Knopf ge-
dreht wird. Dabei kann auf dem Display in der Zeit-
anzeige die genaue Position abgelesen und in
Schritten von 1 „Frame" (F) angefahren werden
(1 Frame =

Sekunde). Nach dem Drehen wird

die momentane Stelle so lange wiederholt, bis die

(40) gedrückt oder die Taste CUE (39)

Bei laufender CD können durch Vor- und Zurück-
drehen des Drehknopfs „Leier"-Effekte erzeugt wer-
den.
6.7
Rücksprung zu einer beliebigen Stelle
1) Während des Abspielens eines Titels mit der

(40) auf Pause schalten, wenn die
Stelle erreicht ist, zu der später zurückgesprun-
gen werden soll. Die Taste
CUE (39) blinken.
2) Bei Bedarf kann mit dem Drehknopf REV/ FWD
(34) die Stelle exakter angefahren werden. Die
momentane Stelle ist fortlaufend zu hören.
3) Die Taste CUE antippen. Dadurch wird intern die
Stelle markiert. (Falls die momentane Stelle zu
hören ist, die Taste CUE erneut kurz zum Stumm-
schalten drücken.) Die Taste CUE leuchtet jetzt

Precise selection of a certain spot
To precisely select a desired spot with activated
pause, turn the control knob REV/FWD (34). The
unit advances and reverses so long and so fast as
the button is turned. During this process, it is possi-
ble to read the precise position on the time display

6.7
Return to a desired spot
1) While playing a title, switch to pause with the but-

unit is to return later. The buttons

2) If required, the spot can be selected more pre-
cisely with the control knob REV/FWD (34). The
current spot can be heard continuously.
3) Shortly press the button CUE. Thus, the spot is
internally marked. (If the current spot can be
heard, press the button CUE again shortly for
muting.) The button CUE now lights continuously.

Hinweis: In den Betriebsarten „Single" und „Single
Relay" kann der Rücksprung nur innerhalb eines
Titels erfolgen.
6.8
Geschwindigkeit
und
ändern
Um die Geschwindigkeit und damit gleichzeitig die
Tonhöhe zu ändern (±16 %), die Taste PITCH (36)
drücken. Die LED neben der Taste PITCH leuchtet,
und die Geschwindigkeit kann nun mit dem Schie-
beregler PITCH CONTROL (35) verändert werden.
Im Display wird die mit dem Schieberegler einge-
stellte prozentuale Abweichung (j) von der Stan-
dardgeschwindigkeit angezeigt. Die Geschwindig-
keit läßt sich im Bereich von 0 bis 6 % in 0,1-%-
Schritten verändern und im Bereich von 6 % bis
16 % in 0,2-%-Schritten.
Mit der Taste PITCH kann zwischen der mit dem
Schieberegler eingestellten Geschwindigkeit und
der Standardgeschwindigkeit hin- und hergeschaltet
werden.
Note: In the operating modes "Single" and "Single
Relay" it is possible to return to a desired spot within
a title only.
6.8
Changing the speed and the pitch
To change the speed and thus the pitch (±16 %),
press the button PITCH (36). The LED next to the
button PITCH (36) lights up and the speed can now
be changed with the PITCH CONTROL (35). The
display shows the percentage deviation (j) from the
standard speed adjusted with the slider control. The
speed can be changed in steps of 0.1 % in the range
of 0 % to 6 % and in steps of 0.2 % in the range of
6 % to 16 %.
The button PITCH switches from the speed ad-
justed with the slider control to the standard speed
and vice versa.
6.9
Matching the beat between two music
pieces
With the buttons PITCH BEND (38), the beat of a
title in player mechanism 1 can be matched to a title
in player mechanism 2 or vice versa.
1) Activate the PITCH CONTROL (35) with the but-
ton PITCH (36). The LED next to the button must
light up.
2) Use the PITCH CONTROL to match the speed of
the currently playing music piece to the speed of
the second music piece.
3) Synchronize the beats of the two music pieces
with the buttons PITCH BEND: As long as the
button + or - is kept pressed, the title is played
16 % faster or slower than the standard speed,
and the LED of the button PITCH and the speed
display (j) flash.
Note: The button PITCH BEND + is ineffective at a
speed of +16 % adjusted with the PITCH CONTROL
(35), and the button - is ineffective at a speed of
-16 %.
