7) Nach dem Einschalten steht das Gerät immer
auf Einzeltitelwiedergabe; das Display zeigt
„SINGLE AUTO CUE" (d). Ist ein Titel zu Ende
gespielt, schaltet das Gerät am Anfang des näch-
sten Titels auf Pause. Soll jedoch automatisch
der nächste Titel gespielt werden, muß mit der
Taste SINGLE/CONT. (31) auf Gesamttitelwie-
dergabe geschaltet werden. Das Display signali-
siert „CONTINUE" (c).
8) Soll das Abspielen einer CD vorzeitig beendet
werden, mit der Taste
Die CD-Schublade kann nun mit der Taste
OPEN/CLOSE (30 oder 57) geöffnet werden.
Hinweis: Während der Wiedergabe ist die CD-
Schublade gegen unbeabsichtigtes Öffnen ver-
riegelt.
9) Vor dem Ausschalten des Gerätes immer mit
den Tasten OPEN/CLOSE die CD-Schubladen
schließen, um die Laser-Abtastsysteme vor Ver-
schmutzung zu schützen. Erst dann das Gerät mit
dem Ein-/Ausschalter POWER (58) abschalten.
6.2
Laufzeitanzeige und Funktion OUTRO
In der Grundeinstellung nach dem Einschalten gibt
das Display (29) während der Wiedergabe einer CD
und bei eingeschalteter Pause die Nummer (f) und
die Restzeit (g) des gerade laufenden Titels an. Zur
Kennzeichnung der Restzeit signalisiert das Display
„REMAIN" (i). Die Zeit wird in Minuten (M) und
Sekunden (S) angezeigt, wobei die Sekunden noch
einmal in 75 sogenannte „Frames" (F) unterteilt sind
(1 Frame =

TIME/STOP (32) können folgende Zeitinformatio-
nen angezeigt und die Funktion OUTRO gewählt
werden (wird die Taste länger gedrückt, schaltet das
Laufwerk auf Stopp):

6.2
Indication of playing time and OUTRO
function
In the basic adjustment after switching on, the dis-
play (29) shows the number (f) and the remaining
time (g) of the title currently playing while replaying a
CD and with activated pause. To indicate the
remaining time, the display shows "REMAIN" (i).
The time is indicated in minutes (M) and seconds
(S), the seconds are subdivided again into 75 so-

6.2.1 Bargraph
Je nach Anzeige der Restzeit oder der bereits
gespielten Zeit eines Titels stellt der Bargraph (e)
zusätzlich die Zeit durch seine Länge graphisch dar.
Die letzten 30 Sekunden eines Titels signalisiert der
Bargraph durch Blinken in seiner vollen Länge,
wobei die letzten 15 Sekunden durch ein schnelle-
res Blinken angezeigt werden.
Hinweis: Bei der Anzeige der Restzeit der gesam-
ten CD ist der Bargraph ausgeblendet.
6.3
Mit der Taste SINGLE/CONT. (31) lassen sich nach-
einander die vier Betriebsarten „Single", „Continue",
„Single Relay" und „Continue Relay" einschalten.
Um z. B. von der Betriebsart „Continue" zur
Betriebsart „Single" zurückzuschalten, die Taste
SINGLE/CONT. dreimal betätigen.
6.3.1 „Single" – Einzeltitelwiedergabe
Nach dem Einschalten ist immer die Einzeltitel-
wiedergabe aktiviert. Im Display wird „SINGLE
AUTO CUE" (d) angezeigt. Nach dem Spielen eines
Titels schaltet das Gerät auf Pause. Danach ist
exakt die Stelle des nächsten Titels angefahren, an
der die Musik beginnt (und nicht der Zeitindex
00:00:00).

6.2.1 Bargraph
According to the display of the remaining time or the
time already played of a title, the bargraph (e) addi-
tionally indicates the time graphically by its length.
The last 30 seconds of a title are indicated by the
bargraph flashing in its full length, the last 15
seconds by even faster flashing.
Note: When indicating the remaining time of the en-
tire CD, the bargraph is not displayed.
6.3
With the button SINGLE/CONT. (31), the four oper-
ating modes "Single", "Continue", "Single Relay",
and "Continue Relay" can be switched on succes-
sively, e. g. to return from the operating mode "Con-
tinue" to the operating mode "Single", actuate the
button SINGLE/CONT. three times.
6.3.1 "Single" – single title replay

This spot is memorized as starting point. After

6.3.2 "Continue" – total title replay
Actuate the button SINGLE/CONT. (31) so many
times until the display continuously shows "CON-
TINUE" (c) instead of "SINGLE AUTO CUE". The unit
plays one title after the other until the end of the CD.

6.3.2 „Continue" – Gesamttitelwiedergabe
Die Taste SINGLE/CONT. (31) so oft betätigen, bis
im Display „CONTINUE" (c) anstelle von „SINGLE
AUTO CUE" kontinuierlich erscheint. Das Gerät
spielt einen Titel nach dem anderen bis zum Ende
der CD ab.
6.3.3 „Single Relay" – automatischer Start des
anderen Laufwerks am Ende eines Titels
1) Die Taste SINGLE/CONT. (31) so oft betätigen,
bis im Display „SINGLE AUTO CUE" (d) blinkt.
Die Betriebsart „Single Relay" ist damit für beide
Laufwerke gleichzeitig aktiviert.
2) Auf einem Laufwerk einen Titel abspielen. Das
andere Laufwerk muß auf Pause geschaltet sein
(Anzeige
).
3) Am Ende des Titels startet das andere Laufwerk,
welches dann einen Titel spielt und danach wie-
der das erste Laufwerk startet usw. bis eine
andere Betriebsart gewählt oder mit der Taste
TIME/STOP (32) auf Stopp geschaltet wird. (Die
Taste ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt halten, bis die
Anzeige
bzw.
erlischt.)
4) Durch Betätigen der Taste
1 oder 2 läßt sich die Wiedergabe von einem zum
anderen Laufwerk manuell umschalten.
5) Wird bei dem auf Pause stehenden Laufwerk
eine andere CD eingelegt, anschließend wieder
die Betriebsart „Single Relay" mit der Taste
SINGLE/CONT. aktivieren.
Hinweis: Wird in dieser Betriebsart die Taste CUE
(39) des wiedergebenden Laufwerks betätigt, wech-
selt die Wiedergabe zum anderen Laufwerk. Wird
an dem auf Pause stehenden Laufwerk die Taste
CUE gedrückt gehalten, wechselt die Wiedergabe
solange zum anderen Laufwerk, wie die Taste ge-
drückt gehalten wird.
6.3.3 "Single Relay" – automatic start of the
other player mechanism at the end of a title
1) Actuate the button SINGLE/CONT. (31) so many
times until "SINGLE AUTO CUE" (d) flashes on
the display. Thus, the operating mode "Single
Relay" is simultaneously activated for both
player mechanisms.
2) Play a title on one of the player mechanisms. The
other player mechanism must be set to pause
(display
).
3) At the end of the title, the other player mechanism
starts which plays a title, then the first player
mechanism starts again etc. until a different oper-
ating mode is selected or it is set to stop with the
button TIME/STOP (32). (Keep the button pressed
for approx. 3 seconds until the display
extinguished.)
4) By actuating the button
(40) of player mecha-
nism 1 or 2, the replay can be manually switched
from one player mechanism to the other.
5) When inserting another CD into the player
mechanism set to pause, activate the operating
mode "Single Relay" again with the button
SINGLE/CONT.
Note: If the button CUE (39) of the replayed player
mechanism is actuated in this operating mode, the
replay changes to the other player mechanism. If the
button CUE is kept pressed on the player mecha-
nism set to pause, the replay changes to the other
player mechanism as long as the button is kept
pressed.
6.3.4 "Continue Relay" – automatic start of the
other player mechanism at the end of the CD
1) Actuate the button SINGLE/CONT. (31) so many
times until "CONTINUE" (c) flashes on the dis-
play. Thus, the operating mode "Continue Relay"
is simultaneously activated for both player
mechanisms.
2) Play a CD on one of the player mechanisms. The
other player mechanism must be set to stop. For
this purpose, keep the button TIME/STOP (32)
pressed until the display
(a) is extinguished.
