– Mains cables, control cables, signal and tel-
ecommunication lines near the welding or
cutting machine
– TV/radio transmitters/receivers
– Computers and other control devices
– Protection equipment such as alarm systems
– Pacemakers and hearing aids
– Measurement and calibration devices
– Equipment with too little protection against
interference
If other equipment is disturbed, it may be neces-
sary to provide additional shielding.
‰ The affected area may go beyond the bounda-
ries of the property concerned. This depends
on the layout of the building and the other ac-
tivities that may be going on there.
Please use the machine in compliance with the
manufacturer's instructions. The operator of the
equipment is responsible for the installation and
use of the machine. The owner is responsible for
eliminating the interference caused by electro-
magnetic fields (possibly with technical assis-
tance by the manufacturer).

Mains connection
The machine complies with the requirements of
EN / IEC 61000-3-12 provided that the maximum
network impedance Zmax is smaller or equal to
the impedance Zmax of the machine at the con-
necting point to the public low-voltage network
specified in the technical specifications. The fitter
or user of the machine is responsible to ensure
that, where applicable by coordination with the
public power supplier, the machine is only con-
nected to a public low-voltage network when the
maximum network impedance Zmax is smaller
or equal to the impedance Zmax of the machine
specified in the technical specifications.
WARNING: Permanent use of the machine at
maximum performance with an actual switching
period that is greater than fifteen percent leads
to the limit values for Rsce defined according to
IEC 61000-3-12 being exceeded, If the machine is
to be operated with a respectively high loading
on a public low-voltage network, the permission
of the power supplier must be obtained by the
user with regard to the connection of the device.

10 Noise emission
The noise level of the unit is less than 70 dB(A),
measured under standard load in accordance
with EN 60974-1 in the maximum working point.
11 Setup and transport
The machine must be set up only on
Therefore, always ensure that the cool-
– Do not set up the device directly by a wall.
– Do not cover any cooling air openings.
The device may overheat and be damaged.
Cooling air openings are located on the

– rear of the housing
12 Brief operating instructions
Position the protective gas bottle near the sys-
tem and protect it against falling over.
Remove the screw cap from the inert gas cylin-
der and open the valve briefly (blow-out).
Connect the pressure reducer to the inert gas
cylinder.
Connect the insert gas hose from the unit to the
pressure reducer and open the cylinder valve.
Connect the work piece line to the Pluspol 3
connection socket.
Connect the TIG torch to the socket of the neg-
ative terminal 6.
