To adjust the horizontal position of the devices,
turn the screw with the designation
"ORIZ". For the vertical position turn the
Screw marked "VERT". For checking the correct setting
of the devices there is a red LED on the receiver. The LED
lights up when the light beam is interrupted.
If the LED is off, the infrared beam from the transmitter
is detected by the receiver.
24.3.3.
Functional test
To check the light barrier, interrupt the infrared beam several times and thus
check the response of the relays.
If this test is successfully completed, the front cover can be plugged on and
screwed tight. Make sure that the seal is correctly seated in the front panel.
The light barrier is now ready for operation.
24.3.4.
Maintenance note
Depending on the ambient conditions (dirt), the front panel must be cleaned
more often. Heavy dirt and dust and inaccurate adjustment can reduce the
range by up to 70%.
