24.3.1.
Installation
Begin by removing the optical/electronic assemblies from the surface mount
housings (see Fig. 1). To do this, unscrew the 4 fastening screws of the front
panel (pos. 1) and remove the front panel.
Now unscrew the 3 fastening screws on the mounting plate below. Make sure
that the springs under the screws marked "VERT" and "ORIZ" are not lost.
There are two mounting methods for mounting the housing: side mounting and
rear mounting. The side mounting is done with the mounting elements item
no. 4, the rear mounting is done on the housing item no. 5. The necessary
housing openings for screws and the connection cable are pre-punched.
Now mount the surface-mounted housings opposite each other, axis-
symmetrically and at the same height from the floor.
NOTE: The distance between transmitter and receiver must not exceed 20m!
