Risk of injury due to faults in the door system!
A faulty door system or incorrectly aligned doors can lead to serious injuries
and damage.
SAFETY INSTRUCTION FOR HAZARD AVOIDANCE
• Do not use the door system if it needs to be repaired or readjusted.
• Check the entire door system for possible damage and wear before
installation!

Check for corrosion, rust or cracks.
The drive is not designed for the operation of heavy gates. Sluggish doors are
doors that are difficult or impossible to open and close manually. The door run
must not have any incline or decline.
The operator is designed for smooth-running doors that are in a mechanically
fault-free condition and easy to operate by hand (EN 12604). The operator is
suitable for both floor-guided and cantilevered sliding gates.
• Check that the door can be opened and closed completely, correctly and
smoothly.
• Mechanically secure the door against running out of its guides.
• Ensure that mechanical interlocks of the door, which are not relevant for
operation with the drive, are not in operation.
• When using door panels, the regional wind loads must be taken into
account (EN 13241-1).
• The sensitive safety shutdown of the drive reacts to uneven door travel by
switching off and reversing the motor.
• The self-locking motor prevents the door from opening automatically. As
protection against greater loads, e.g. forced opening, an electric lock
(magnetic centre lock) or similar must also be installed.
• The portal column with the motor should be placed on the inside of the
property.
• The entry post must be set up in such a way that the gate closes against
the rear wall of the entry post (see drawing).
