These instructions must be handed over to the operator as an essential part of
the product. These instructions must be kept in a safe place and must be
accessible at all times to all users of the gate system.
3.3. Intended use
This drive can be used in private and commercial applications, but is mainly
designed for commercial use.
The sliding gate operator may only be used with smooth-running gates, i.e. the
gate must open and close easily by hand.
The maximum permissible door weight and the maximum permissible door size
must not be exceeded.
Observe the manufacturer's specifications regarding the door system, consisting
of door and operator. You can avoid possible hazards in the sense of EN 13241-
1 if the installation follows the instructions in these instructions.
Doors that are operated with a drive must comply with the applicable standards.
The door must run smoothly so that the safety shutdown can react optimally.
The door must have a mechanical end stop in the open and closed position,
otherwise it can be pushed out of the guide when in the "emergency unlocked
state".
Door systems located in public areas and only equipped with a safety device, e.g.
force limiter, may only be operated under supervision.
3.4. Improper use
This operator is designed exclusively for opening and closing sliding gates.
This drive is not intended for continuous operation.
The operator must not be used on gates with inclines or declines.
The operator must not be used with heavy gates. Contact your door supplier for
heavy-going doors.
