14 Mounting and connecting the inductive sensor
The inductive sensor is mounted in one of three predefined positions in the base plate of the Robotino 4.0
and connected to the I/O interface.
Required tool:
17 mm open-ended spanner
1. Mounting the sensor
To mount the inductive sensor, use one of the two round holes in the bottom plate of Robotino 4.0 or
the opening in the center of the bottom plate. Screw the upper lock nut onto the sensor thread, push
the sensor with the plug side up into the opening provided, hold the sensor in the desired position and
secure it with the lower lock nut.
2. Connecting the sensor
Connect the inductive sensor to the power supply and to an analog input of the I/O interface.
Check the circuitry of the sensor specified here on the supplied data sheet of the inductive sensor.
