Connect the UPS to a mains outlet socket having an earth connection or
install fixed connections (in accordance with chapter "Installation" on page
EN-16) to an appropriate source. Switch on the input miniature circuit
breaker at the rear of the device in the case of fixed connections
After 5 hours, unplug from the mains supply or switch off the input
miniature circuit breaker of the UPS in case of fixed connections. Then
remove the UPS connections in the opposite sequence to that described in
"Installation".
Note the date recharging was carried out in the vicinity of the UPS or on its
packaging, for example.
Cleaning
Switch off the UPS by pressing the OFF button following the shutdown
procedure and disconnect from the mains supply.
Do not use scouring powder or plastic-dissolving solutions to clean the UPS.
Do not allow liquid to get inside the UPS.
Make sure that the air vents on the UPS are not obstructed. Remove dust
from the air vents with a vacuum cleaner.
Clean the outside of the UPS housing by wiping with a dry or a slightly damp
cloth.
