Operating the Device
UPS shutdown procedure - all ratings (tower)
Note
Carrying out this procedure will interrupt the supply to Load.
Press the "MENU" button, select submenu "Control" and press "OK",
select submenu "Turn UPS ON/OFF" and press "OK", the LCD displays
"Turn UPS to BYPASS" then press "OK" to switch off the inverter .
Open any external switches connecting the load (if present).
Switch both Input Switches to position (0) OFF.
Ensure all switches and circuit breakers upstream of the UPS are
open.
Ensure that all LEDs on the control panel are extinguished. The UPS is
now completely shutdown.
Maintenance bypass procedure - Linear Plus 6 and
10 kVA
Press the "MENU" button, select submenu "Control" and press "OK",
select submenu "Turn UPS ON/OFF" and press "OK", the LCD displays
"Turn UPS to BYPASS" then press "OK" to switch off the inverter (see
"Control panel Linear Plus" on page EN-36).
Remove the safety cover from the Maintenance switch (see Fig. 9 on
page EN-24 and Fig. 11 on page EN-25) and switch from "UPS" to
„BYPASS".
Note
At this point the Load is no longer protected against interruptions and
disturbances on the mains supply.
Switch Output and Input switches to position (0) OFF.
The UPS is now switched off, all LEDs are extinguished and the Load is
supplied directly from the mains supply.
