Preparation for Use
• Tower UPS contain 1 jumper for common feeding (connect „mains"
and „reserve")
• 6 kVA and 10 kVA RM UPS contains 1 jumper for ESD hardwired output
• Battery cabinets/racks contain 1 DC-power cable
• RM devices are equipped with 1 set of rails (Fig. 6 on page EN-15)
• UPS devices only contain 1 User Manual
Dimensions of area
To ease movement over short distances the UPS is fitted with wheels. It is
necessary to leave a minimum space of a few centimetres around the side
and rear panels to allow a flow of air and to provide access, to enable the
technician to carry out routine maintenance operations which may involve
removal of the panels (See Fig. 5).
