CHLORIDE LINEAR Plus/RM
UPS Start-Up procedure - Linear Plus 6 and 10 kVA
single block
Ensure all switches and circuit breakers upstream of the UPS are
closed.
Ensure mains connections are secured at the UPS input. UPS requires
two supplies or one supply and one bridge. If the UPS is supplied from
one mains only mains connectors have to be fixed to terminals in
section „ Mains 1". The jumper has to be fixed as follows:
- 6 kVA Tower: from
- 10 kVA Tower: from
Switch both Input Switches (mains 1 and mains2/reserve) to position
(I) ON. The LCD displays "Self testing, please wait" (see "Control and
messages Linear Plus" on page EN-36).
Wait for at least 30 seconds until the output voltage has stabilized
(yellow LED illuminated). The LCD displays "BYPASS MODE". Then
turn Maintenance Switch to position "UPS".
Check setup menu 5 (overview of menus: see Fig. 20 on page EN-37),
check and adjust - if necessary - parameters for language, voltage and
battery pack(s) (see Table 10 on page EN-40). The preset language is
ENGLISH)
Close any external switches connecting the load (if present).
Press the "MENU" button, select submenu "Control" and press "OK",
select submenu "Turn UPS ON/OFF" and press "OK", the LCD displays
"Turn UPS to ONLINE" then press "OK" to switch on the inverter
Danger
If the LOAD indication is greater than 100% ( "Control panel Linear Plus"
on page EN-36) then either too many consumers are connected to the
UPS or, if only one consumer is connected, the energy demand exceeds
the power rating of the UPS. In addition to the front panel indication an
acoustic signal (1 beep per second) is activated.
