MOTORIZED CONVEYOR
The Motorized Delivery Conveyor may be used on either the PA–S/PAS–T
or the TR–P/TR–T to assist in the delivery of saddle stitched booklets.
INSTALLATION
To install the conveyor on the delivery end of either machine, slide the conveyor into the unit at
a slight angle, aligning the slots in the end of the conveyor with the four mounting studs in the
side frames of the host machine. After the conveyor is securely in place, connect the six pin
control cable into the female receptacle. The PA–S/PAS–T or the TR–P/TR–T will not run
without the conveyor be plugged in. The delivery wheel mounting shaft is then mounted to the
machine tie bar located above the conveyor. Use the provided clip to secure the delivery
wheels to the shaft.
OPERATOR CONTROLS
1.
MANUAL CONVEYOR ADVANCE SWITCH. Press the switch to advance the conveyor
belts.
They advance as long as the switch is held in.
2.
OVERLAP CONTROL KNOB. The overlap control knob is used to change the distance
between booklets. Turning the knob clockwise increases the distance traveled for thick or
large booklets, counterclockwise assists in the transfer of smaller booklets.
3.
FUSE.
When replacing a fuse always disconnect the power and use a properly rated fuse.
SETUP
Position the delivery wheels on the conveyor to allow a finished book to completely exit the
machine. In order to move the wheels, squeeze the upper ends of the spring clip together and
slide the wheel assembly on the shaft.
The overlap control knob (2) should be adjusted for the best transporting and stacking of com-
pleted booklets on the conveyor.
