AGR–P/AGR–T STITCHER
The AGR–P/AGR–T is designed to produce corner, edge, or saddle stitched booklets on
- line with Bourg Collator Systems. Sets from two sheets to twenty-two sheets may be
saddle stitched and up to 55 sheets may be edge or corner stitched (80 gsm – 20 lb.
bond).
INSTALLATION
Position the AGR–P/AGR–T at the delivery end of the collator and secure in place with the
knurled locking knobs. Connect the ten pin interface cable to the female receptacle in the col-
lator.
OPERATOR CONTROLS
1. MAIN POWER SWITCH. This switch provides power to the AGR–P/AGR–T and illumi-
nates when in the "ON" position.
2. MOTOR START SWITCH. This switch is pressed momentarily to start the drive motor and
enable the unit to function.
3. MOTOR STOP SWITCH. Momentarily pressing this switch stops the drive motor and pre-
vents the machine from cycling.
4. MANUAL STITCH SWITCH. Momentarily pressing this switch activates the stitcher to
stitch a set. If the switch is held in, the machine cycles repeatedly.
5. STITCH CANCEL SWITCH. Hold this switch activated during the delivery of a set from
the collator to prevent the set from being stitched. The collator keeps feeding sets unless
the operator stops the collator cycle.
6. EMERGENCY STOP SWITCH. When the stop switch is pressed it stops the
AGR–P/AGR–T and the collator. The operator must unlock the stop button by rotating
slightly clockwise in order to restart both the AGR–P/AGR–T and the collator.
7. HEAD / SADDLE STITCH SELECTOR. This toggle switch is located in the control panel
and positioned to the left the head stops will engage. If the switch is to the right the saddle
stitch paper stops are selected.
8. HANDWHEEL. A handwheel is provided to allow the operator to cycle the machine by
hand. The handwheel must be removed (safety switch) and stored while the machine is in
operation.
