TR / TR–T TRIMMER
The TR/TR–T are designed to interface with the PA–S/PAS–T to produce face trimmed
booklets on-line.
INSTALLATION
Position the TR/TR–T at the exit end of the PA–S/PAS–T. Connect the six pin interface cable
from the TR–P/TR–T to the female receptacle at the delivery end of the PA–S/PAS–T, then
secure the two machines together with the two knurled locking knobs provided. Verify that the
deflector plate is screwed in place between the PA–S/PAS–T and the TR–P/TR–T to assist in
transfer of the booklets.

2.
START. Momentarily press the start switch to activate the TR/TR–T for operation.

EMERGENCY STOP. When the stop switch is pressed it will stop the TR–P/TR–T and
also stop the collator from producing booklets. The collator will not restart nor will the
TR–P/TR–T until the operator unlocks the emergency stop button by rotating the red
knob clockwise.
7.
RESETTABLE BREAKERS.
8.
HANDWHEEL. A handwheel is provided to allow the machine to be cycled by hand. The
handwheel should be removed from the machine and stored in a safe location while ope-
rating the machine automatically.
9.
WASTE BIN. A removable waste bin is located on the lower left side of the machine to
collect the trim waste from the booklets. The machine will not run without the waste bin in
place. The bin should be emptied when necessary.
