TRIMMER SET-UP
INPUT BELT (TR–T only)
The input belt on the operators side of the machine must be positioned for proper transpor-
ting of the folded booklet into the trim area.
To move the input belt carrier:
1.
Stop the machine with either the Stop Switch or the Emergency Stop Switch.
2.
Raise the input safety cover.
3.
Lift the input belt carrier slightly and slide to the desired location.
4.
When closing the safety cover, verify that the carrier lock
that is mounted on the cover engages with the belt carrier.
EXIT ROLLERS (TR–T only)
The exit roller rack on the operator's side of the trimmer should be positioned
for proper booklet exit after trimming.
To move the exit rollers:
1.
Stop the machine with either the Stop Switch or the Emergency Stop Switch.
2.
Remove the entire roller rack assembly from the machine. It will be necessary
to position the paper stop assembly at approximately the 216 mm (8 1/2") position.
3.
Remove the two lock clips from either side of the operator's side roller rack,
slide the rack to the desired location, and secure in place with the lock clips.
4.
A weight is provided to mount on the exit rollers when more drive is required
to assist in the transfer of the booklets to the motorized conveyor.
PAPER STOP ASSEMBLY
Adjust the position of the paper stop assembly using the 5 mm allen wrench provided.
Loosen the lock screws and locate the stop assembly to achieve the desired trim.
A scale is located on both sides of the machine to assist in location.
It is helpful to process a booklet through the system without trimming to verify the fold
and stitch location. Use the trimmer by-pass switch to process a booklet without face trim.
Use extreme caution when working in the vicinity of the
trim knife, it is very sharp and may cause serious injury.
