FOLD POSITION
Using the scale on the paper
stop tray as a guide, position
the paper stops for the desired
fold location (7). The scale is
only a guide and fine adjust-
ment may be required due to
sheet variations or set thick-
ness.
FOLD SKEW KNOB
If the edges of the folded
booklet are not parrallel,
change the angle of the paper
stop tray with the Skew
Control Knob (8). Rotating the
knob counterclockwise will
move the face of the booklet (as it lays on the conveyor) towards the non-operator's side of
the machine.
FOLD GUIDE SKIS
A set of guides skis are located above the paper stop tray to assist in control of light sets. The
skis may be adjusted to minimize the distance between the skis and the stitched set.
Adjusting the skis will help eliminate unwanted buckling of the set prior to folding. To adjust
turn the 5mm cap screws located on the exit end of the machine with the "T" wrench provi-
ded. Turn clockwise to raise the skis. Remember to raise the skis when running thick sets.
GAP CONTROL
This lever is to be positioned according to
book thickness. The minimum gap is to the left
and is used for two sheets. Move the lever
towards the right for thicker sets.
Twenty-two sheet sets require the maximum
gap.
