Slicing
11. To cut more slices, pull the slicing carriage back and cut the next slice.
After slicing / storage
12. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
13. Set the cutting width to 0.
14. Push the slicing carriage up to the stop point towards the cutting blade.
15. If there is leftover food on the cutting blade, especially when cutting fatty foods (e.g.
sausage, cheese), clean the cutting blade and device (see chapter "Cleaning").

Cleaning and care

ATTENTION!
Risk of injury associated with sharp blade! Never touch the cutting surface of the
cutting blade; instead always grasp the holder.
Prior to each cleaning, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
Danger of electrocution! Never immerse the device in water or other liquids and nev-
er hold it under running water. Never touch the device, cord or plug with wet hands.
Caution! Damage to the device! The device and the accessories are not suitable
for the dishwasher!
The surfaces could be damaged as a result! Do not use any aggressive, scouring
or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads.
Check the mains cord regularly for damage.
Take the fi nger guard and slicing carriage off of the device (see chapter "Use", section
"Before slicing").
Dry off all parts.
Insert the cutting blade back in the device and tighten the locking screw by turning it
counterclockwise.

8. Place the food you intend to slice between the fi nger guard
and guide wall (10).
9. Push the safety switch (3) and On/Off switch (2) at the
same time to activate the device. The cutting blade will
stop when you release the On/Off switch.
10. Push the food you intend to slice gently against the guide
wall and use the slicing carriage to slowly push it against
the rotating cutting blade.
Turn the locking screw (5) clockwise to loosen the cutting
blade.
Carefully remove the cutting blade.
Wipe off the device and accessories with a damp cloth.
You can also wipe off the fi nger guard, slicing carriage and
cutting blade with water and a mild detergent.
