Inserting / Changing Batteries

CAUTION!
When the battery compartment is opened, the can
opener may be activated by accidentally pressing
the On / Off button. You should therefore always
place your fi ngers a safe distance away from the
cutting blade!
2 x 1.5 V batteries of the AA type are also required.
These are not supplied with the product.
3. Slide the battery compartment cover shut again. You
should feel and hear it click into place.
Use
• If the can which is to be opened has an open-
ing ring pull, use the can opener to open the
bottom of the can and not the top.
• The cutting blade (4) does not work if it is not
placed correctly on the edge of the can.
• The can opener cuts on the seam on the can
lid. This ensures that no sharp cutting edges
are produced!
• CAUTION! Only use the can opener with the
protective cap (5)!
2. Press the On / Off button (1). The motor starts to oper-
ate and the cutting blade (4) extends. The can opener
automatically cuts open the lid. It is not necessary to
guide the can opener with your hand.
3. Once the cutting blade (4) has moved all the way
round the edge of the can, the motor can be switched
off. To do this, press the On / Off button (1) again. The
cutting blade (4) moves back to its starting position.
4. Remove the can opener from the can. The lid is re-
moved directly when you do this by the magnet (3) on
the bottom of the can opener.
