Before Initial Use

• Before using the product, remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be
on the product and are used for protection during transportation or for advertising.
• There may still be some production residues on the product. To avoid harmful effects
to your health, clean the product thoroughly before you fi rst use it (see the "Cleaning"
chapter).

Changing Inserts

• As you require, push the julienne slicer (1), the slicer (5) or the grater (4) into the
recess which is provided for it in the mandoline grater (2). The insert must be heard
to engage in place.
• To remove the insert, lift it up slightly and carefully pull it out of the mandoline grater.
