4. Hold the product with one hand over the collecting container (9), a plate or similar
receptacle and use your other hand to place on the food which is to be chopped up,
using the fi nger guard if necessary, and twist it clockwise. The spirals will drop into
the collecting container or similar receptacle.

Cleaning

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
product. These may damage the surfaces.
• Remove the used inserts from the mandoline grater (2) (see the "Changing Inserts"
chapter).
• Rinse all used parts under warm running water and use a little mild detergent if nec-
essary, or clean them in the dishwasher.
• Allow all parts to dry completely before the product is stored away.

Storage

• Place the mandoline grater on the housing.
• Store the product in a clean, dry place that is protected from sunlight and is not ac-
cessible to children and animals.

• Use the dial (10) to set the lowest cutting width so that the
blades are concealed.
• Slide the collecting container (9) into the housing (3).
• Place the rest of the inserts, the fi nger guard of the mando-
line grater (6) and the spiral slicer (8) with fi nger guard (7)
into the collecting container.
