The product should only be used if it has been correctly assembled!
Grating and Slicing or Cutting Juliennes
1. Place the insert you want into the mandoline grater (2) (see the "Changing In-
serts" chapter)
2. Slide the collecting container (9) into the housing (3).
3. Place the mandoline grater on the housing.
4. Set the cutting width you want for the cutting surface (11) using the dial (10). The
cutting width can be set to any width you want between 0.5 and 5 mm.
5. Wash and, if necessary, peel and core the food which is to be chopped up. Larger
pieces should be halved if necessary.
NOTE: Do not apply too much pressure to maintain the set cutting width.

6. If necessary, skewer the food on the fi nger guard of the
mandoline grater (6).
CAUTION! Never slice small pieces of food without the
fi nger guard! Danger of cuts!
7. Hold the product fi rmly with one hand and use your other
hand to move the food which is to be chopped up, using
the fi nger guard if necessary, back and forth on the cutting
surface and the insert. The chopped-up food will drop into
the collecting container.
The collecting container can be pulled out of the hous-
ing to make it particularly easy to handle.
1. If you wish, you can press the buttons on the bottom of
the spiral slicer (8) to open out the blades you require on
the top:
– 1 – 4 small blades for cutting thin spirals
– 2 – 4 additional blades, offset to the 4 standard blades,
to cut very fi ne spirals.
– RESET – the small blades are folded in again, large
blade for cutting wide spirals.
2. Wash and, if necessary, peel and core the food which is to
be chopped up. Larger pieces should be halved if neces-
sary.
3. If necessary, skewer the food on the fi nger guard of the
spiral slicer (7).
