4. After the end of the toasting process, the bread and the lowering lever (12) are auto-
matically raised and the device switches itself off.
5. Remove the bread carefully from the toasting slots (2).
With small slices of bread, the lowering lever (12) can also be used to lift the toast
up. Slide the lowering lever (12) up as far as it will go to make it easier to remove
the slices of bread.
6. If you have fi nished using the device you pull the mains plug out of the socket and
allow the device to cool down.

Cancelling the Toasting Process

Press the Stopp (stop) button (15) to cancel the toasting process prematurely. The bread
is raised.

Cleaning and Care

ATTENTION!
■ Caution: Risk of burns! Allow the device to cool completely before cleaning it.
■ Do not use any metal objects to remove burnt bread residues from the device.
■ Only the cup is dishwasher-safe! All other parts should not be cleaned in the dish-
washer.
■ Do not use any toxic, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or scouring sponges to
clean the device. These can damage the surface.
■ Do not spray cleaning agents directly onto the toaster.
• Wipe down the outside of the device with a clean, slightly damp cloth and then dry it
with a dry cloth.
• All parts must be completely dry before they are put back inside the device.
Coffee Machine
1. Take the permanent fi lter (7) and the permanent fi lter holder (9) out of the fi lter com-
partment (8) and dispose of the used coffee powder.
2. Clean the permanent fi lter (7), the permanent fi lter holder (9), the cup (6) and the cup
rest (5) with warm water and a little detergent if necessary.
3. Then thoroughly dry the permanent fi lter (7), the permanent fi lter holder (9), the
cup (6) and the cup rest (5).
A commercial descaling agent for coffee machines can be added to the water to
descale the water tank (11) and the lines. Note: Note the operating instructions
for the descaling agent.
After descaling, rinse out the water tank (11) with water and perform at least one
cleaning cycle just with water, without descaling agent and without coffee powder,
in the water tank (11).
