Use

ATTENTION!
Risk of injury associated with sharp blade! Never touch the cutting surface of the cut-
ting blade. Always use the slicing carriage and the fi nger guard for cutting.
Always check the cutting blade to ensure a secure fi t.
Risk of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep clothing, jewellery and hair away
from the device.
Do not overheat the motor! Let the device cool off (for approx. 30 minutes) after no
more than 5 minutes of continuous operation!
It is easier to cut cheese, sausage and meat if they have been cooled (not
frozen!).
Allow freshly baked bread to cool off completely before cutting it.
Before slicing
1. Always place the device on a dry, fl at, fi rm and clean surface.
2. Unwind the cord from the cord holders (9).
3. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible.
4. Fold out the platform (6).

5. Mounting the slicing carriage (7) on the platform: Insert
the hook on the bottom of the slicing carriage into the two
recesses on the outer guide track (indicated by the arrows
on the photo). You can now move the slicing carriage
along the guide tracks.
Removing the slicing carriage: Push the slicing carriage
up to the stop point towards the cutting blade and remove
it from above.
6. Place the fi nger guard (8) on the slicing carriage. The high
side must be pointing towards the guide wall (10).
7. Use the rotary knob (1) to set the desired cutting width
(from 0 to 15 mm possible). It is displayed at the top on
the device (11) .
