Control electronics structure

CoolPROTECT has a mother board (with micro processor-chip) and a two-line, 16-digit display
(LC-Display).
All basic functions of the unit are controlled from this motherboard.
Furthermore a relais board is integrated that controls the following functions:
• Potential-free alarm contact (changer contact)
• Connection of the acoustic alarm (24V AC)
• Potential-free switching output for salt bleeding
• Potential-free switching output for biocide dosing
In unit 255166 there is an additional circuit board (288959) into which a potential-free switch for
the control of the circulation pump is integrated.
All potential-free contacts are arranged as changer contacts.
Due to the pre-wiring the process periphery can be connected more easily via the terminal strip
(31-50 terminals).
Units of the kind of Art.-No. 255166 have an additional in/out circuit board
(53-62 terminals) which provides additional signal processing capabilities.
The outputs are designed as potential-free contacts. The inputs are designed for the processing
of potential-free contacts.
The controlling-Software is divided into the following levels:
• Operation level (see chapter 8.2)
• Service-operation (see chapter 8.3)
• Parametering-operation (see chapter 8.4)
• Configurations-operation (see chapter 8.5)
