2.1

Safety Information

The equipment must be placed as far away as possible from safety risks and sources of
danger.
Applicable protective clothing is to be worn for reconditioning and repair work and during
the handling of the system. All applicable safety regulations for the handling of chemicals
are to be followed.
Every material to be disposed of from this equipment (packing material etc.) must be
disposed of in accordance with the local and international environmental protection
regulations and applicable laws.

Special Labeling

The highlighted maintenance instructions contained in this manual have the following
meaning:
Is used when imprecise observance or non-observance of handling instructions, work
CAREFUL!
instructions, regulated work procedures and the like can result in injury or accident.
Is used when imprecise observance or non-observance of handling instructions, work
WARNING!
instructions, regulated work procedures and the like can result in property damage.
IMPORTANT
Is used when special attention is required when for handling the equipment.
NOTE
Is used to indicate an aspect of particular importance.

Listings

Listings with this symbol ( ) refer to an activity that may only be executed by the
installation / operational personnel.
2.4

Special safety information for maintenance and repair work

Electrical repair work may only be executed by licensed electricians (safety rule of the
Accident Prevention & Insurance Association VB G and ZH 1/11 [Germany])
CAREFUL!
When opening covers or removing parts, except for when this is possible without tools,
live wires/parts could be exposed.
Connector points may also be live with electricity.
IMPORTANT
Only original replacement parts may be used for repairs.
