General Points

This manual contains all important information for the function, operation, adjustment and
trouble shooting of the CoolPROTECT equipment series.
NOTE
The safety notes and emphases must be observed at all times!
The CoolPROTECT is a fully programmable control unit for cooling tower salt bleeding. The
unit contains a measurement und control system on the basis of inductive conductivity.
In equipment types with the article number of 255155 and 255166 (see chapter
control of biocide metering can also be controlled with CoolPROTECT.

Damage in Transit

The equipment may not be installed if during unpacking one notices damage that has
occurred during transit.

Warranty

Warranty in regards to operational security, dependability and accuracy is granted by the
manufacturer only under the following terms:
• Installation, connection, adjustment, maintenance and repair is executed by authorized
and professionally trained personnel.
• Only original replacement parts may be used for repairs.
