7.1 Switch on / Start
1. Make sure that the main switch (19) is switched o and the
hot-air blowers (10) are in parking position.
2. Connect the mains voltage plug.
3. Switch on the main switch (19).
4. Select/set the welding profi le.
5. Switch on the heating with the Button for heating On/O
(31); wait 3 to 5 minutes until the desired temperature is
reached.
6. Swivel the hot-air blower (10) downwards
(machine starts automatically).

7.2 Switching off

1. Swivel the hot-air blowers (10) upwards
(stops the drive motor)
2. Switch o the heating with Button for heating On/O
(31), confi rm Cool down mode with button (33)
3. Wait for end of cool-down process (approx. 6 minutes)
4. Switch o the main switch (19)
5. Pull out mains voltage plug

• Switch o the heating with the button for heating On/O (31), followed by the Confi rm
button (33) so that the welding nozzle (9) cools down.
• Activate the cool down mode with the Confi rm button (33).
• To accomplish this, trigger the Cool Down Mode (see Cool-Down-Mode).
• The blowers switch o automatically after approx. 6 minutes.
• Now switch o the device with the main switch (19) and disconnect the power supply
cord (1) from the electrical network.
• Wait until the device has cooled down!
• Check the power supply cord (1) and plug for electrical and/or mechan-
ical damage.
• Use a wire brush to clean the welding nozzle (9).
