BASIC is the fl exible Start welding profi le of your UNIROOF. If you would like to use the values that were most
recently set when you switch the device back on again later, then you must work with the BASIC welding profi le
(Profi le number 1).
If you should change the setpoints during ongoing operations while working with a saved welding profi le (Profi le
numbers 2 – 16), the saved welding profi le will nevertheless remain available for use unchanged.
Proceed as follows to select a saved profile:
9.13 Setting up and saving welding profiles (Save Profile)
"Save Profile" can be used to save the setpoint settings for the drive, air temperature and air volume welding pa-
rameters under a freely selectable designation (see Input profi le names).
Creating a new profi le:
1. Setting up desired setpoints [Work display, Minus/Plus keys 32)].
2. Select and confi rm the Settings menu [Menu selection, Key (33)].
3. Select Setup menu [Menu selection, Plus key (32)].
4. Select Save profi le menu [Menu selection, Plus key (32)].
5. Select and confi rm the User-defi ned menu [Menu selection, Key (33)].
6. Select and confi rm the Selected position menu [Menu selection, Key (33)].
7. Enter desired profi le name, select Enter keyboard (see Input profi le names) and confi rm
[Menu selection, Button (33)].
8. Select and confi rm the Save menu [Menu selection, Key (33)].
Your newly created profile is now saved and can be accessed at any time under the name that has been entered.
Use the Minus/Plus buttons (32) to access the menus in the menu selection (42).
Select the Saved welding profi le symbol there (it will be highlighted with a dark back-
ground) and conform your selection with Taste (33).
Use the Up/Down arrow keys (30) to select a Leister welding profi le (Profi le numbers
1 – 6) or one of your own previously saved welding profi les (Profi le numbers 7 – 16).
Good to know:
The current welding profi le is always displayed
in the Section 1 (32) status display.
