Installation
Mount the electric security lock 809

Screw the electric security lock 809 into place in the lock pocket.

Fasten the lock escutcheons.

Test the electric security lock 809 for ease of movement.
9 The electric security lock 809 is ready for operation with the mounted striking plate.
Mounting the striking plate

Finish the striking pocket and all drilled holes ("Flat striking plates", page 58 and "General", page 34)
or you can finish a customer-provided striking plate ("Electric security lock 809", page 34).

Clean the striking plate pocket and all drilled holes by blowing them out or vacuuming.

Screw the matching locking into place for the electric security lock 809 to be installed.

Test the electric security lock 809 for ease of movement.
9 The electric security lock 809 is ready for operation.
Mounting escutcheons and locking cylinders

Remount the escutcheons.

Place the lock cylinder in, and keep in mind that the cylinder's locking nose is in the middle position
(Pic. 10).

Fix the locking cylinder into place with the Cylinder fixing screw.
9 The electric security lock 809 is now fully mounted.
Testing the electric security lock 809

Test all functions of the electric security lock 809.

Check whether the latch and auxiliary latch bolt of the lock are pushed back by the same impact edge.

Check whether all bolts can freely extend and retract without transverse shear stress after installation
(Pic. 7).
9 The electric security lock 809 is fully mounted and tested for functionality.
