Security lock 309

General

Security lock 309 for tubular frames is a mechanically operating mortise lock for use in escape doors, fire
doors and smoke protection doors, as well as standard applications.

Functions

The closed door is always locked automatically (automatic locking).
Some product versions are suitable for emergency exits in accordance with DIN EN 179 and can be
opened from inside at any time using the door handle.

The security lock 309 offers

· Mechanical automatic locking,
· Intrusion-resistant thanks to a solid lock bolt
with 20 mm throw
· Intrusion resistance up to resistance class 2
can be achieved in suitable door systems,
· Escape door function (panic function) possible
in accordance with DIN EN 179,
· Suitable for fire doors (evidence of conformity
in form of general appraisal certificate),
· Outer door handle can be controlled mechan-
ically with cylinder actuation (use fitting with
split spindle and outer door handle),
· Deadbolt counterforce of 2,000 N,
· Lateral deadbolt resistance of 6,000 N.
