The escape door locking system 352M

General
The escape door locking system 352M (Fig. 1) is equipped with an electric drive
and is used to lock doors.
The door contact and the armature contact are designed as potential-free
switching contacts. The door contact is switched magnetically when the door is
closed. The armature contact can be used to monitor locking status.
The escape-door locking system 352M functions based on the fail-unlocked
principle and is used as an additional locking element in a certified locking
system for escape doors. The bolt can be pushed back if the electric escape door
system emergency button is pressed or the power fails.

The bolt is extended by a motor. Activation is simple:
If an electric current is applied while the door is
closed, the bolt extends after a delay of approximate-
ly one second. If the power is shut off, the bolt is
released.
