Electrical connection

The escape door locking system 352M is equipped with potential-free monitoring
contacts. Used as a door contact (RR), a reed switch is switched by magnets in
the lock counterpart and signals the door locking status. This prevents the bolt
from extending while the door is closed.
Used as an armature contact (AKRR), a relay switch reports the locking status of
the escape door locking system 352M.

Warning!
Only connect the wiring when the power is shut off: There is a risk of electric
shock when the power supply is switched on. This can lead to death or serious
injury.

Attention!
The voltage supply must match the operating voltage. The lock will be
permanently damaged or will not function if an unsuitable voltage is applied
("Electrical data", page 55).
Connecting the escape door locking system 352M
The escape door locking system 352M is supplied with power via the control lines.
1 If necessary, connect the potential-free armature contact for electronic
monitoring of the locking status.
2 Connect the control lines (power supply)
(Fig. 7 and the installation and mounting line for the escape door system).
 The escape door locking system 352M is now electrically connected and can be
mounted.
 Check whether the escape door locking system unlocks and the door can be
opened when the emergency button is pressed.
