Electrical connection

The electric lock 351M80 is equipped with potential-free monitoring contacts. A
reed switch as a door contact (RR) is switched by magnets in the striking plate
and reports the closed status of the door. In the process, the bolt is prevented
from extending while the door is closed.
A relay contact as an armature contact (AKRR) reports the locking status of The
electric strike 351M80.
Warning!
Only connect while the power is shut off: There is a risk of electric shock when
the voltage is switched on. This can lead to death or severe injury.
Attention!
The voltage supply must match the operating voltage. The electric strike will
be ruined or will not function with an unsuitable voltage supply. The electric strike
351M80 is available in three versions with different operating voltages ("Electrical
data", page 38).
Connecting The electric strike 351M80
The electric strike 351M80 is supplied with voltage by the control lines.
1 If necessary, connect the potential-free armature contact for the electronic
monitoring of the locking status.
2 Connect the control cables (voltage supply) (Pic. 6).
9 The electric strike 351M80 is now electrically connected and can be mounted.
