Description
In the case of the fail-unlocked locking principle, the device
is locked when an electric current is flowing.
The lock counterpart is the counterpart to the lock in-
stalled in the door.
The lock pocket is the recess in the door or door frame to
hold the lock.
The armature contact is a monitoring contact. The
armature contact signals whether the bolt is locked or
unlocked.
The door contact is a monitoring contact. The door contact
signals whether the door is closed with the lock sensor
system detecting whether the face plate and lock counter-
part are precisely aligned, facing each other.
The sensor system comprises reed contacts in the lock and
magnets in the lock counterpart, meaning the contact
is closed when the face plate and lock counterpart are
precisely aligned, facing each other.
