Explanation of terms

Description
With RFID (Radio-Frequency IDentification), identification takes place
contact-free and automatically.
The ID medium (card, key ring or key) is held up to the reader for
identification.
k-entry ® is software for locking systems
("k-entry ® management software", page 34).
PPG V3 is a programming device
("k-entry ® management software", page 34).
RTC is an abbreviation for the system's internal Real Time Clock.
The outer fitting is fastened on the external side of the door (oppo-
site the escape direction) and can only be opened after successful
identification.
The mounting plate with battery compartment and security electronics
is fastened on the interior side of the door (in the escape direction) and
can be opened without ID media.
The inner fitting is fastened on the mounting plate.
The reading (reading device) reads the presented ID medium.
Only for variant for internal doors: The threaded sleeve is a cylindrical
sleeve on the outer fitting to accommodate the fixing screw.
Only for variant for external doors: The mounting plate is fastened on
the outer fitting by the threaded pin with threaded sleeve.
Only for variant for external doors: The mounting plate is fastened on
the outer fitting by the threaded pin with nut and counter nut.
The handle pin is a square pin which is guided through the follower and
ends in the door handle.
Seal protecting from dirt and water.
