Property damage due to inappropriate transport of the door leaf: The door
leaf must not be carried by the door handles. The product can be damaged or
destroyed in the process.
Property damage arising from the opening of the reader: The product must not
be opened, because it would be damaged in the process.
Impaired function due to penetrating water and moisture: The product must
be protected to prevent water from getting inside of it. Water impairs the func-
tion of the electronic door fitting.
Property damage arising from inappropriate drilling: The product and the
mortise lock must be removed prior to any work on the door leaf. The product
and the mortise lock will destroy them and the penetration of chips or dirt can
cause damage.
Impaired function due to distorted installation: The product must be installed
free of torsion.
Property damage arising from the striking of the door: The product can be
damaged if the door strikes against a wall or other obstacle. Install a door stopper
so that the door leaf does not strike against a wall or other obstacle.

Note!
Test the product after installation: The product must operate consistently
smoothly for all functions. The bolt and latch must move easily when closing. An
inconsistent or sluggish movement of the bolt or latch can indicate a mounting
error or distorted installation. The latch must always be retractable with the inner
door handle in any locking status. The latch must only be retracted with the outer
door handle after successful log-in with the product.
