Replacing the battery

The battery has a capacity of up to 30,000 opening cycles in a maximum of three
years. At the latest, the battery must be replaced if one of these two limits has
been reached.

Attention!
Risk of tampering due to time deviation with interruption of the power
supply: Connect the device to a USB-capable device (such as the V3 program-
ming unit) during battery replacement in order to maintain the power supply.
Otherwise, the time will be delayed the duration of the battery change. The
system issues a warning notice indicating a potential time difference.

Note!
Notice according to the German Battery Law (BattG): You are legally obligated
to recycle used batteries. ("Disposal", page 45)
Battery replacement is the same for all variants: The figure shows the battery
replacement for the Standard variant. Battery replacement for the Premium vari-
ant is identical.
