Office function

With the office function activated, the external door handle is also permanently
engaged so that the door can also be opened from outside without identification.
The office function can only be activated with authorised ID media.
Configuring the office function
The office function is configured in the k-entry
manual).
1 Configure the office function, for instance:
1.1 assign authorisations to ID media for activation of the office function. ID
media can be issued for office masters with expanded authorisations and
for office users with simple authorisations.
1.2 Create time slots and holiday lists for use of the office function.
Intentionally activating the office function
1 Hold an ID medium with office master authorisation in front of the reader for
3 seconds. If the function is not intentionally activated, the office function is
switched on or off by holding an authorised ID medium in front of the reader
unit.
Activating the office function (within a defined time slot)
1 Hold an ID medium with office authorisation in front of the reader during the
defined time slot. The office function can be activated before the beginning of
the time slot with an ID medium with office master authorisation.
 The activated office function is deactivated automatically after the time has
elapsed.
Deactivating the office function
If a time slot is configured, office users can activate and deactivate the office
function within the time slot. Office masters can also activate and deactivate the
office function outside of the time slot.
1 Hold an ID medium with office master authorisation in front of the reader for
3 seconds.
