14.2. CONNECTING LEAD WIRE

Insert the lead wire plug into the
base of the unit.
Connect the lead from the base of
the unit to the lead in the probe.
Push the pin ends firmly into the
pigtail ends of the probe lead.
The lead wires may be damaged by
rough handling and should be
treated with care.
Lead wire colour coding.
The ends of the lead wire are
coloured black or red. This coding is
provided for some professional uses.
For most purposes, the orientation
makes no difference, and you can
ignore this colour coding.

14.3. PREPARING FOR SESSION

1) Before using Unicare you will need
to urinate.
2) Lubricate the metal electrode
surfaces and probe tip with a
water-based lubricant, such as
TensCare Go Gel or water.
