MEMORY
The Unicare has a Memory with
three functions:
1) Programme Retention. When you
switch
the
unit
automatically
programme which was being used
when it was switched off.
2) Usage. Press T and ▼ together
and hold down for 3 to 5 seconds.
The display will show the number of
times the unit has been used and
the duration of use in hours.
Press the same buttons again to
return to normal controls.
3) Memory Reset. To reset memory
to zero, hold down the T and OFF
buttons together for 3 to 5 seconds.

14. SETTING UP AND USING
THE UNICARE

14.1. CHARGING THE BATTERY

The Unicare is powered by a built-in
rechargeable
Li-ion
charging adapter is included in the
kit.
The
battery
charging about once a month. The
battery should last at least 15 hours
at 50mA, 300μs, 50Hz. To fully charge
the battery it will take about 2 hours.
When the battery is running low, the
battery icons will show on the
screen. Although the display fades
as the batteries run down, the
strength of the output does not
change until the warning is shown.

To charge the battery:
Connect the charger to the unit and
plug it onto the mains socket.
The word BATT and three flashing
lines will show on the screen display
– that means the battery is being
charged.
When the battery is charged, the
word FULL will display.
