Welding wedge position factory setting
F. Connect the GEOSTAR to the mains and
switch on the main switch (2). Press
clamping lever locking device (10)
and swing clamping lever (7) upwards
until the clamping lever locking de-
vice (10) engages and use your other
hand to accomplish this by holding the
automatic welding machine fi rmly by the
handle (11) . Rotate the welding force
adjustment ring (8) until the welding
force matches the desired value with
the clamping arm (4) clamped and test
strips inserted. Afterwards, one has the
clamped membranes glide for approx. 2
sec. at the lowest speed over the wel-
ding wedge (5). The welding wedge
(5) is thus moved into its fi nal position.
CAUTION!
Mechanical damage could oc-
cur if the maximum welding
force of 1500 N is exceeded.
