OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS HEATING
These instructions are approved for The Alde Compact 3020 heating system installed in Recreational Vehicles (RVs)
as detailed in Standard ANSI Z21.13-2014, CSA 4.9-2014.
1.1
Checking the heating system before use
•
Check the fluid level in the expansion tank as in section 1.11 (Glycol heating fluid).
•
Check that the flue is kept free of snow and ice, as induction air enters the boiler via the flue when operated on
LP gas. Also check that other objects are not obstructing or disrupting flue gases and supply air at the flue. When
checking the flue, make sure that the main gas valve to the LP gas system is closed.
•
Check the air circulation as in section 1.6 (The principle of convection).
WARNING
VARNING
Do not drink any alcohol or take any drugs before or
during the operation of the heating system and follow
AVERTISSEMENT
the safety instructions carefully.

period. See section 1.7 Using the heating system (DOMESTIC HOT WATER)
•
Carry out a check as in section 1.1 (Checking the heating system before use).
AVVERTENZA
•
Start the heating as described in section 2.1 (STARTING THE HEATING SYSTEM).
WAARSCHUWING
•
Select language, this appears when the panel is started for the first time, see section 2.9 point 22.
•
Check that the right accessories have a checkmark next to them in the list of installed functions, see section 2.12.
•
Set the clock, see section 2.9 point 4.
•
Set the desired operating mode (gas and/or electric) and the desired interior temperature, see sections 2.4, 2.6
and 2.7. The LP Gas heating and electric heating can be operated simultaneously, but this should be avoided in
newly filled systems.
