• Use a slightly damp cloth (not wet) for cleaning the surfaces
of the devices. Never use substances containing alcohol, ben-
zene, diluents or other flammable substances. Use of these
substances may damage to the devices and cause fires or
electric shocks.
• Remove power to the automation before removing leaves
and stones, to ensure that noone can operate the door.
• Check the system periodically, in particular all cables,
springs and supports to detect possible imbalance, signs
of wear or damage. Do not use the automation if repairs or
adjustments are required; any fault or an incorrectly balanced
door may lead to physical injury.
11.5 – Remote control battery replacement (fig. 52)
When the battery is discharged, the transmitter capacity is signifi-
cantly reduced. If, when a button is pressed, the led L1 turns on and
immediately fades to off, it means that the battery is completely dis-
charged and should be immediately replaced.
If, on the other hand, the led L1 turns on only for a moment, it means
that the battery is partially discharged; it is necessary to hold the
button down for at least half a second because the transmitter can
attempt to send the command. However, if the battery level is too low
to complete the command (and possibly wait for the response), the
transmitter will turn off, with the led L1 that fades. In these cases, to
restore normal transmitter operation, the battery must be replaced
with a version of the same type, noting the polarity as specified.
Batteries contain polluting substances: do not dispose of
them together with other waste but use the methods estab-
lished by local regulations.
11.6 – Remote control support installation
To install the remote control support see fig. 53.
11.7 – Photocells battery replacement (fig. 54)
To replace the batteries see fig. 54: use only the type specified in
chapter "Technical specifications"; other battery types could cause
damage to the device and create hazardous situations.
11.8 – Flashing indicator battery replacement (fig. 55)
To replace the batteries see fig. 55: use only the type specified in
chapter "Technical specifications"; other battery types could cause
damage to the device and create hazardous situations.
