Tank
Filler neck
Tank cap
Fill in fuel when the fuel level is low.
Only fill in lead-free fuel with an octane rating of ROZ = 95.
Check and fill in fuel as follows:
1.
Ensure that the machine is switched off. If necessary,
allow the engine to cool.
2.
Position the machine such that the tank is in a vertical
position (see Figure 25 "GP 4000 P – fill in fuel") and
secure the machine against falling over.
3.
If necessary, clean tank cap
the tank cap.

Open tank cap
5.
Visually check the fuel level.
6.
If necessary, fill in petrol with a suitable funnel.
The maximum fuel level is the lower edge of the filler
neck
. Take care that petrol does not overflow.
7.
Close tank cap

Never run the machine until
the tank is completely empty.
Instead fill in more fuel when the
fuel level is low in order to ensure
a long life for the machine and
to avoid damage. Check the fuel
level before each start-up.

Integrated diesel filter with level indicator
Fill in fuel when the level is low.
Only use diesel free of additives with the specification
EN590:96 or biodiesel with the specification EN14214 and
a cetane number of at least 45.
Proceed as follows to check and fill in diesel:
1.
Ensure that the machine is switched off. If necessary,
allow the engine to cool down.
2.
Position the machine so that the tank is in a vertical
position (see Figure 26 "Filling in diesel 1") and secure
the machine against falling over.
3.
If necessary, clean the tank cap and area around the
tank cap.
