Operating conditions

This chapter describes the operating conditions required for
the correct operation of the machine.
If the real conditions deviate from the operating conditions,
the machine must not be used. Before commissioning the
machine always check whether all operating conditions are
observed.

In addition, the following conditions must also be met dur-
ing operation:
– It is not permitted to disable the function of protective
devices or other components.
– The machine may only be operated provided the
machine is in perfect condition.
– All the inspection and maintenance intervals must be
observed.
– The machine must be kept in a clean condition.
– The machine must not be operated in areas where there
is a risk of fire or explosion or near to flammable or
explosive liquids or gases.
– The workplace must be adequately illuminated in order
to detect possible risks in good time.
– The workplace must be adequately ventilated.
– The machine must only be operated at a dry workplace
and not in the rain or snow.
– The machine may not be operated on a gradient of 4 %
or more.
– The workplace for the product variation GP 4000 P must
not be in a tunnel.

Transport

This chapter includes all the information which
is required for the safe transport of the machine.
Read the instructions for the transport carefully
and observe the instructions in order to ensure
the machine has a long life.

Carrying fixtures on the machine

The following picture shows the fixtures where the machine
can be carried by 2 persons. The carrying fixtures also serve
as fastening points for suitable means of transport.
