Switching off the machine

If there is not an emergency, switch off the machine as
follows:
Switch off the machine GP 4000 P (petrol engine)
1. Put the throttle completely in the direction " – ".
2. Turn the on / off switch
3. Close the fuel tap .
Switch off the machine GP 4000 D (diesel engine)
1. Allow the engine to run at low speed for approx. 3 min.
2. Put the throttle in the "Stop" position.
3. Close the fuel tap (position "S").
4. Slowly pull out the starter handle

Filling in fuel and oil

fuel and oil.

6.6.1 Check and fill in fuel

Fuels based on mineral oil are com-
bustible and highly inflammable.
Contact with ignition sources, hot
surfaces or a naked flame can
lead to the risk of deflagration or
fire resulting in severe burns and
possibly fatal injuries.
– Allow sufficient time for the
engine to cool before filling
fuel into the machine tank.
– Never fill in fuel near to ignition
sources or a naked flame and
always ensure there is adequate
ventilation.
Fuels based on mineral oil are
NOTE
hazardous to water. If these pen-
etrate the soil, this may result in
contamination of ground water
and hazardous substances enter-
ing the food chain.
– Do not fill in fuel at locations
where a fuel spillage can enter
the soil
– Use an appropriate means to
completely capture and dispose
of any fuel which overflows
according to the regulations.
