Cause
Compressed air supply fault:
Pressure and/or supply volume too low.
Supply hose too long.
Lack of engine lubrication.
Lack of engine lubrication.
ATTENTION! Dirt in the rope drive.
Rope and rope drive might be damaged.
The load has come to rest on an obstacle or
has jammed on an obstacle.
Fault in the DOWN control circuit of the hoist.
Rope tip faulty
The silencer on the motor has frozen due to
cold, humid compressed air.

Clearing
– Check the hoses and the connections for leaks.
– Check whether the hoses are crimped.
– Check the operator-side compressed air supply.
– Check the shut-off valves.
– Check the pressure setting on the pressure regulator.
– Check the pressure and the supply volume on the mo-
tor.
– Use a supply hose with a larger diameter.
– Check the maximum length of the supply hose.
– Refill the oil in the lubricator (see ' 15.3 Care and main-
tenance, Hoist' on page 17).
– Check the lubricator settings (see ' 15.3 Care and
maintenance, Hoist' on page 17).
– Refill the oil in the lubricator (see ' 15.3 Care and main-
tenance, Hoist' on page 17).
– Check the lubricator settings (see ' 15.3 Care and
maintenance, Hoist' on page 17).
– Replace the hoist as soon as possible and have the
hoist checked / repaired by Greifzug Hebezeugbau
GmbH or an authorized hoisting gear workshop.
– Carefully move the load upwards and remove the ob-
stacle.
– Check the rope, rigging and lifting equipment to con-
firm their operating safety.
– Trigger emergency descent by releasing the brake,
see ' 10.3 Emergency descent' on page 14.
– Have the supply line checked by a qualified specialist
and repair or replace.
– Replace rope tip, see 'Care and maintenance, Rope'
on page 16.
– Use compressed air oil with anti-freeze for the appro-
priate temperatures.
– Thaw out the motor and the silencer with hot air (not
with an open flame!).
