Assign the hoses to the connections in accordance with
Fig. 1 on page IV of Fig. 2 on page VI.
Insert the hose approx. 1 cm into the opening of the cou-
pling.
It must not be possible to pull the hose out by hand.
Model series XA 2050 P:
The control lines are connected to the hose couplings. The hose
couplings are coded and labelled (1) so that they cannot be con-
fused (see Fig. 18 on page XII).
Supply hose
See Fig. 8 on page X:
Blow compressed air through the supply hose (5). Clean the
coupling (6) on the hoist if necessary.
Set the pressure regulator valve (3) to 6 bar.
Connect the supply hose (5) to the hose coupling (6).
Secure all hanging hoses using a cable-strain reliever.
Slowly open the shut-off valve (4).
Check all of the hoses for leaks.
Mount the rope
Risk of injury through stabs and cuts!
Broken wires can result in protruding wires! Protruding wires
can cut or pierce protective gloves!
Wear suitable leather protective gloves when working
with ropes.
Never let the rope run through your hands!
Danger of crushing or being pulled in!
When threading the rope in there is a risk of fingers or the en-
tire hand being pulled in with the rope or being crushed on the
pulleys and rope guides!
Never touch the rope whilst the hoist is in operation! Do
not reach into the inlet or outlet of the hoist.
Maintain a suitable distance from the rope.
Watch out for rope loops.
ATTENTION!
Incorrect assembly!
Damage to the rope may occur!
Never run the rope over an edge!
The loose rope end must hang freely.
Rev. 08/2010
DANGER!
Damage to the hoist possible!
The unloaded side of the hoist may be loaded with a
maximum of 100 kg (e.g. via the rope pretensioning).
Note:
If the anchoring point for the rope is located above the hoist
the rope must be fastened before it is fed into the hoist.
Roll-off the rope correctly so that no loops in the rope occur.
Insert the rope tip on the motor side into the hoist as far as
possible (Observe the direction of the arrow on the hous-
ing).
Switch on the hoist in the pulling direction.
Feed in the rope until the rope feeds in automatically and
comes out of the opening on the other side.
Make sure that the rope outlet is free to allow the loose end
to untwist.
If necessary, guide the loose end of the rope over a deflec-
tion roller or another suitable rope guide to prevent the rope
from running over an edge that will result in the rope being
damaged. see Fig. 14 on page XI.
Place the loose end of the rope down correctly to prevent
any loops or knots from being created.
