Lubrication
Danger of falling due to slippery or damaged ropes or
brake failure and malfunction!
May result in severe injuries or death!
–
Do not lubricate the ropes using a lubricant that contains
disulfide (e.g. Molycote
®
–
Use multi-purpose grease or oil.
–
Cleaning the wire rope, the hoist or independent secon-
dary brakes with high pressure cleaners is prohibited!
Moisture results in malfunctions and damage to the mo-
tor, brake and the pneumatic equipment.
–
Dirt on the wire rope results in premature wear or the de-
struction of the wire rope, rigging and hoist.
Replacement
Replace the ropes immediately if the withdrawal criteria in accor-
dance with table 5 have been reached (to ISO 4309 and DIN
15020, sheet 2) or typical rope defects have occurred, see Fig.
10 on page X.

The hoses must be replaced immediately by a qualified specialist
in the event of damage to the hoses or the connections or in the
event of blistering.

Hoist
Danger of falling due to slippery or damaged ropes or
brake failure and malfunction!
May result in severe injuries or death!
–
Cleaning the wire rope or the hoist with high pressure
cleaners is prohibited! Moisture results in malfunctions
and damage to the motor, brake and the pneumatic
equipment.
–
Dirt on the wire rope results in premature wear or the de-
struction of the wire rope, rigging and hoist.
See the separate maintenance instructions provided for trained
personnel.
Gearbox and brake
The gearbox and brake are maintenance free.
–
Clean the outside if heavily soiled.
–
Keep the brake free of oil and grease.
Motor
Lubricator on the maintenance unit (optional scope of delivery):
–
Set the adjusting screw on the lubricator so that the com-
pressed air is enriched with approximately 10 drops per
minute.
After or before extended downtimes:
–
Close the shut-off valve on the maintenance unit.
–
Relieve the pressure in the supply hose to the motor by op-
erating the control lever.
–
Remove the supply hose on the hoist.
–
Pour approximately 30 cm³ of kerosene into the supply
hose.
–
Connect the supply hose to the motor.
–
Open the shut-off valve on the maintenance unit.
–
Run the motor for approx. 10 to 15 seconds.
–
Close the shut-off valve on the maintenance unit.
–
Relieve the pressure in the supply hose to the motor by op-
erating the control lever.
–
Remove the supply hose on the hoist.
–
Pour approx. 10 cm³ of hydraulic oil (see ' 4.4 Operating flu-
ids' on page 6) into the supply hose.
–
Connect the supply hose to the motor.
